This is a beautiful Italian modernist lamp. It has a chromed steel structure and a chrome glass shade. The lamp serves both as an uplighter, creating a wonderful ambiance in a corner, and as down light that gives soft illumination at the table or on the desk. Made by Studio BBPR for Artemide , it is an original, classic design from the 1950s.
